The Surface 604 Rook is a comprehensive electric town bike that comes fully-loaded with features including a powerful 500W Bafang motor activated by a smooth accelerating torque sensing system and an upgraded long-range 960wh battery.
The Rook’s incredibly smooth torque sensor knows how hard you’re pedaling down to the microsecond and matches it with proportionate power.
With its easy-going step-thru frame, stylishly integrated lights, rear rack and fenders, the award-winning Surface604 Rook is an excellent all-around electric bike.

The Surface604 Rook Electric Bike is 100% designed and engineered in Canada. These are high-performance electric bicycles with hydro-formed frames, entirely custom designed and constructed for a premium e-bike riding experience.
Featuring a powerful 500W (750 peak) Bafang Geared Hub Brushless Motor and an industry-leading 12mosfet 25A controller, so Surface 604 e-bikes deliver unmatched torque, speed and reliablilty.
But unlike cheaper cadence-sensor driven ebikes that lurch and then suddenly drop out, Surface604 electric bikes feature precision torque-sensors for a smoother and more natural feeling ride.
Whisper Smooth Torque Sensing Pedal Assistance
So long jumpy cadence sensors – an electric bike is only as good as it’s power distribution.
Surface604 electric bikes use a frame-mounted torque sensor system that monitors 104 cadence pulses per revolution and 1,000 torque samples per second.
This hyper-accurate torque-sensing system translates into seamless proportional pedal assistance from a 500 watt continuous / 750 watt peak power Bafang motor that ramps up when you actually need it and then fades off just as seamlessly.
