The long-awaited and much-anticipated E-Motion Rebel line featuring Yamaha’s PW motor system is to Electric Cyclery in August.
The Rebel line from BH Easy Motion uses the Yamaha compact (7.7 lb) electric bike motor with an aggressive design and an insane 80 Nm of torque. WOW! The Yamaha motor is built into the frame bottom bracket with minimal visual impact and creates a low center of gravity.
The Yamaha PW boasts a high torque of up to 80 Nm and 250 W power, limited to 20 MPH. The PW motor also enables the use of conventional gearing, allowing the rider to run a single or double chainring, and offers no resistance in «no assistance» mode.
The torque and cadence sensors fully integrate into the motor offering maximum precision, this allows the system to provide jerk-free, powerful, reactive assistance.
The external speed sensor measures the rotation of the wheels, providing the system with more information to optimize the assistance.
Rebel full suspension ebikes incorporate BH’s patented Split Pivot technology. Split Pivot technology provides a suspension system with floating shock absorption, developed exclusively for BH Bikes.
The Lynx Split Pivot suspension design allows three forces to act separately by isolating pedaling, braking and suspension forces. This provides the rider with the most neutral and natural pedaling platform on the market.
